Cílem této práce bylo porovnat délky inkubace v osmi typech líhní a vyhodnotit, zda rozdílné typy substrátu (s odlišnou schopností zadržovat vlhkost) mají vliv na rychlost líhnutí vybraného druhu strašilky. Pro experiment byl použit druh Ramulus sp. Výběr této strašilky byl podmíněn relativně krátkou inkubační dobou, nenáročností a její snadnou dostupností. Líhně byly uloženy v pokojových podmínkách a pravidelně vlhčeny. K měření vlhkosti a teploty byl použit datalloger. Nejkratší inkubační doba 46 dnů byla zjištěna v líhni {\clqq}vodní lázeň`` s průměrnou relativní vlhkostí 100%. Nejdelší inkubační dobu 56,5 dne vykazovala líheň {\clqq}kompost s pískem`` s průměrnou relativní vlhkostí 70,9%. Výsledky této práce by mohly pomoci chovatelům této skupiny hmyzu ke snadnějším a zejména efektivnějším odchovům. The aim of this thesis is to compare the length of an incubation in eight types of incubators and to evaluate whether the different types of substrate have an influence on incubation pace of the selected Phasmatodea species. There were used Ramulus sp. species for this kind of experiment. The main criteria for selection of these Phasmatodea species were their relatively short incubation period, their easy breeding and availability. The incubation containers were placed in room conditions and regularly humified. The datalloger was used for humidity and temperature measurement. The shortest incubation period of 46 days was measured in the {\clqq}water bath`` incubator with an average relative humidity of 100 per cent. The longest incubation period of 56,5 days proved to be in the {\clqq}sand compost`` incubator with an average relative humidity of 70,9 per cent. The results of this thesis could help breeders of this kind of insect to breed in easier and especially more effective way.
