Lumbální punkce je dnes běžným diagnostickým a terapeutickým výkonem.Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku nemocných po lumbální punkci. Skládá se z části teoretické a z části výzkumné. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo na infekčním oddělení Nemocnice Tábor, a.s., se svolením hlavní sestry a vedoucích pracovníků oddělení. Ke sběru dat bylo použito kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, pomocí nestandardizovaného rozhovoru. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 8 pacientů po lumbální punkci a 7 sester pracujících na infekčním oddělení.Cíle práce byly splněny.Z šetření vyplynulo, že poskytování informací je nedílnou součástí celého komunikačního procesu mezi zdravotníky a pacienty. Pouze správně informovaný pacient bude přiměřeně spolupracovat a napomůže tak ke kvalitně provedenému zdravotnickému výkonu.Na základě analýzy odpovědí respondentů byl vytvořen letáček, který by měl pacienty informovat a zároveň nabádat k dodržování stanovených opatření. Věříme, že tímto způsobem, bychom zmírnili možnost vzniku komplikací a zabránili vytvoření překážek v péči o nemocné. Výsledky šetření budou poskytnuty vedoucím pracovníkům oddělení, kde bylo šetření realizováno, jako možnost zlepšení péče o pacienty před a po lumbální punkci. Lumbar puncture has become a common diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. This Bachelor thesis presents problems of lumbar puncture patients. It consists of the theoretical and empirical parts. The empirical research proceeded at the infectious disease ward of the hospital in Tábor,a.s. agreed by the charge nurse and managing staff of the ward. The data were collected from 8 lumbar puncture patients and 7 infectious disease ward nurses through a qualitative research method, a non-standardised interview.All the research questions were clarified.The research findings supported the significance of providing information as a part of communication process between health care staff and patients. Patients´ awareness makes the cooperation better and can help perform the health care procedure. The analysis of interview responses form the basis for making up a leaflet which should inform patients and move them to follow the measures. There is a hope this leaflet also help eliminate possible health complications and avoid making further obstacles to nursing care. These research findings will be offered to the managing staff of the wards where the survey was realised as a suggestion how to improve the care prior to and after the lumbar puncture.
