Tématem a hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je shrnutí základních informací, týkajících se obezity u preadolescentů a zjištění možných souvisejících komplikací. Práce poskytuje náhled do možností léčby. V praktické části je zpracována případová studie sedmiletého chlapce, který absolvoval léčebný lázeňský pobyt na redukci tělesné hmotnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že redukční lázeňská léčba preadolescenta bez edukace a spolupráce ostatních členů rodiny nemá trvalé účinky. U chlapce se již v šesti letech objevily zdravotní komplikace, které mají přímou souvislost s obezitou. The topic and the main objective of this work is a summary of basic information related to obesity in preadolescent age and identification of potential associated complications. The work provides insight into treatment options. In the practical part is processed by a case study of seven years old boy which has received therapeutic spa stay for reducing body weight. From the six year of his live, he has medical complications which are directly related on the obesity problem. It was found that, the reducing weight spa treatment without education the preadolescent boy and cooperation with other family members does not have permanent effects.
