[cze][eng] Tato práce se zabývá kulturou v rámci sokolské organizace a budovami sokoloven na území naší republiky. V první kapitole se věnuje historii Sokola od jeho vzniku v roce 1862 do dnešní doby. Následuje popis současného organizačního a finančního zajištění České obce sokolské. Další kapitola se zabývá kulturními aktivitami sokolských jednot z pohledu historického i současného, organizací těchto aktivit v rámci ČOS a příklady divadelní činnosti v pražských jednotách. Dále se práce zabývá budovami sokoloven, historií jejich výstavby, způsoby financování a jejich prostorovými dispozicemi. V závěru je uveden příklad sokolovny v pražské Uhříněvsi, která svou historií a současným využitím demonstruje osudy těchto budov na našem území.This thesis deals with culture in the Sokol Organization and Sokol Houses within the territory of the Czech Republic. The first chapter focuses on the history of Sokol since it was founded in 1862 till the present day. This is followed by a description of the current organizational and financial background of Česká obec sokolská (Czech Sokol Organization, CSO). The next chapter deals with cultural activities of Sokol unions from historical and present points of view, organization of these activities within the CSO and examples of stage play activities in Prague unions. Further, the thesis concentrates on Sokol Houses, the history of their construction, methods of financing and their spatial layouts. Finally, there is an example of a Sokol House in Uhříněves in Prague which demonstrates the destinies of these buildings within the Czech territory with its history and its current use.
