In this bachelor thesis, titled Famous Singers of the Prague Spring Festival After 1989, it is possible to become acquainted with a systematic overview of singers that were active at the festival and their updated biographies. Included is an overview of song recitals, concert opera arias, symphonic compositions with solo vocal parts, masses and oratorios. I omitted any analysis of performances of the national and state theatres because even though they were automatically considered a part of the Prague Spring, the festival never had any dramatic influence on the productions. This work contains a scan of the concert programs which could be an invaluable source of inspiration for future artists in forming their own programs. In the first chapter I shortly discuss the creation and history of the Prague Spring Festival with some insight into the fate full events of the early Czech nation.
