The intention of this essay is to offer to czech public an overview of swedish music, especially of swedish vocal literature.Beginning with ancienit music, we are getting through 16th and 17th century up to F. Berwald and then, with few stopovers in 19th and 20th century with such composers as E.G.Geijer, L.Norman, A. Soderman, W.Peterson- Berger, W. Stenhammer or H. Alfvén, we end up in 20th century speaking about opera and contemporary music in Sweden.
