Tato práce se zaměřuje na biotechnologie v zemědělství, konkrétně na pěstování Bt kukuřice a stav dané problematiky v České republice. Určuje, popisuje a hodnotí zvláštnosti pěstování této transgenní odrůdy a porovnává ho s pěstováním konvenčních odrůd. Zkoumá, zdali je použití biotechnologií pro českého zemědělce z podnikatelského hlediska výhodné. Use of biotechnology in agriculture has become beneficial for many farmers. However, growing of genetically modified crops has it's own specifics. Paper describes and evaluates specifics of use of biotechnologies in agriculture in the Czech Republic.
