Tato práce má dva cíle. Prvním z nich je představit přijatá protikrizová opatření během Velké hospodářské a současné finanční a ekonomické krize. A následně tato opatření podrobit kritice z pozice představených ekonomických teorií, a to keynesovství a rakouské školy. Obě školy si jsou vzájemně v opozici, co se týká názorů na státní ingerence. Rakouská škola je jeden z nejliberálnějších ekonomických směrů, kdežto keynesovci patří mezi ekonomické směry, které podporují vládní participaci na poli stimulace agregátní poptávky. Druhým cílem je hledání analogií mezi Velkou hospodářskou a současnou finanční a ekonomickou krizí. Hledané analogie se vztahují k událostem, které oběma krizím předcházely a které na jejich vznik měly přímo vliv. My thesis has two aims. The first one is to present anti-crisis measures adopted during the Great depression and the current financial and economic crisis. Afterwards, I evaluate and criticize those measures from the point of view of the Austrian school and Keynesian. Both those schools are each other in opposition concerning the opinion on government interventions. Austrian school represents one of the most liberal economical streams, while Keynesians are part of those economical streams that support government participation in the field of aggregate demand. The second aim is to find analogy between the Great depression and the current financial and economic crisis. The searched analogies are related to events that foreran both crisis and that had a direct influence on those crises.
