Cílem této práce je popsat praktické zavedení procesního řízení z pohledu procesu Configuration Management a následné implementace podpůrného nástroje, konfigurační databáze se zaměřením na popis a identifikaci jednotlivých kroků potřebných k definici a zavedení procesu a následném výběru a implementaci podpůrného nástroje. Jako výchozí podklad práce jsem využil praktické zkušenosti z projektů zaměřených právě na definici a zavedení procesního řízení a následnou implementaci podpůrných nástrojů, ve kterých jsem vystupoval v roli vlastníka procesu Configuration Management, a byl jsem tedy přítomen celému průběhu projektů. V diplomové práci se zaměřuji hlavně na mnou spravovaný a definovaný proces Configuration Management a popisuji postup a význam jednotlivých činností vedoucích k úspěšnému zavedení procesu do praxe, včetně identifikovaných problémů a jejich řešení. Výsledkem práce by tedy mělo být přiblížení zavedení jednoho z procesů z rodiny ITIL v. 2 do praxe a následné činnosti vedoucí k výběru a implementaci konfigurační databáze, jakožto hlavnímu výstupu tohoto procesu. The aim of this Thesis is to describe the practical implementation of process management in terms of Configuration Management process and subsequent implementation support tool, configuration and management database, focusing on describing and identifying particular steps needed for the definition and implementation process and the subsequent selection and implementation support tools. As an initial base of this Thesis I have used the practical experience of projects focusing on the definition and implementation of process management and subsequent implementation support tools, in which I acted in the role of the Configuration Manager. It means I assisted at course of entire projects. The Thesis focuses mainly on my run and defined Configuration Management process and describes the process and importance of various activities leading to the successful establishment of a process into practice, including identified problems and some of their solutions. The result of this Thesis should approach introducing one of the process of family ITIL v. 2 to practice and subsequent leading to the selection and implementation of the configuration and management database, as a major output of this process.
