Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku obchodní etikety a diplomatického protokolu Spojených států amerických. Práce si klade za cíl poskytnout hlubší informace v oblasti obchodního protokolu a společenského styku, zejména vylíčit jejich specifické znaky i vlivy, a připravit tak lépe na obchodní jednání s americkým partnerem. První kapitola práce popisuje základní rysy americké společnosti mající vliv na obchodní jednání. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na vybrané otázky společenské a obchodní etikety. Poslední kapitola podává stručný přehled o diplomatickém protokolu a diplomatické praxi ve Spojených státech amerických. This thesis focuses on issues of business etiquette and diplomatic protocol of the United States of America. The aim is to provide deeper information in the field of business protocol and social contact. The first chapter describes specific characteristics of American culture and its influences on business negotiation. The second chapter defines selected issues of social and business etiquette. The third chapter is devoted to diplomatic protocol and diplomatic practice of the United States of America.
