Cílem práce je zhodnotit realizaci místní Agendy 21 v kraji Vysočina a provést analýzu projektu "Vysočina 21", který je realizován právě krajem Vysočina. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem (trvale) udržitelný rozvoj. Dále je zde popsána místní Agenda 21, která zavádí principy trvale udržitelného rozvoje do praxe. Posledním bodem této části je vysvětlení principů fungování Revolvingového fondu Ministerstva životního prostředí, z kterého projekt získal dotaci na své aktivity. Praktická část se zabývá popisem realizace místní Agendy 21 na úrovni kraje a současně projektem "Vysočina 21", který je zaměřen na zvýšení informovanosti o místní Agendě 21 a udržitelném rozvoji, posílení občanské odpovědnosti a občanské participace. Cílem této části práce je zhodnocení procesu místní Agendy 21 v kraji, analýza daného projektu a posouzení jejich významu pro kraj Vysočina a jeho obyvatele. The goal of the thesis is the evaluation of the realization of a Local Agenda 21 in Vysočina Region and to make an analyze of the project "Vysočina 21", which is realised by Vysočina Region. The term sustainable development is explained in the theoretical part of the thesis as well as the term Local Agenda 21, which introduces the principles of sustainable development to practice. Finally, we explain the principles of the operation of Revolving Fund by Ministry of the Environment from which the project gained the grant for its activities. The practical part deals with the desription of the realization of Local Agenda 21 on the region level and with the project "Vysočina 21" which is focused on the increase of expansion of information about Local Agenda 21 and sustainable development, together with the strengthening of the civil responsibility and participation. The goal of this part of the thesis is to evaluate the process of Local Agenda 21 in the region, the analysis of the project and the assessment of their importance for Vysočina Region and its inhabitants.
