Tato práce se zabývá mezinárodním obchodem se zbraněmi, a to jak jeho teoretickými, tak praktickými aspekty. První část se věnuje pojmům a definicím, jsou zde zmíněny také některé problémy spjaté s touto problematikou. Další kapitoly pojednávají o vývojových trendech ve zbrojení, legislativě vztahující se k obchodu se zbraněmi a dopadech jeho regulace. Nechybí ani analýza největších zbrojních velmocí současnosti, a to jak na straně vývozců, tak dovozců zbraní. This thesis is focused on the international arms trade -- its theoretical and practical aspects. The first part deals with methods and definitions. Some problems relating to the terminology are also mentioned. Other chapters include trends in armament, legislation concerning the arms trade and the impacts of its regulation. This study also includes the analysis of the biggest arms suppliers and importers in term of particural countries.
