Tato práce se v první teoretické kapitole zabývá vztahem konkurenceschopnosti a inovací. V druhé kapitole je konkurenceschopnost dávána do vztahu s vědeckotechnickými parky. Parky jsou pak v této kapitole dále klasifikovány, jsou uvedeny jejich přínosy, ale také kritika a nové trendy v oblasti vědeckotechnických parků. Třetí kapitola analyzuje prostředí britských a českých vědeckotechnických parků, jejich vzájemné podobnosti a vztahy k exportu. Čtvrtá kapitola obsahuje celkovou analýzu Technologického centra Hradec Králové, jako příkladu dobré praxe v ČR. This thesis in its theoretical part deals with the relation between competitiveness and innovation. In the second chapter the competitiveness is being linked to the science parks. This chapter also describes the categories of science parks, their benefits, as well as criticism and new trends in the field. The third chapter analyses the British and Czech science park environment, the parallels in their operation and relations to export. In the last chapter there is a thorough analysis of Technologické centrum Hradec Králové, one of the good examples of science park in the Czech Republic.
