Tato práce pojednává o rusko-ukrajinském sporu o plyn z roku 2009 a jeho konsekvencích pro vnější evropskou energetickou bezpečnost. První část je věnována zkoumání příčin této krize a jejich evaluaci, dále je pak pozornost upřena na spor v roce 2009, příčemž hlavní důraz je kladen na analýzu jeho příčin. V závěrečné části jsou pak výsledky této analýzy konfrontovány se stávající politikou energetické bezpečnosti, přičemž je zkoumán vztah mezi Ruskem a Evropou, také otázka Ruska jakožto spolehlivého partnera a je věnován prostor diskuzi o diverzifikaci transitních cest v návaznosti na ruské energetické zájmy. This bachelor thesis deals with the recent gas dispute between Russia and Ukraine, which took place in 2009, and its consequences to the external energy security of the EU. The first part applies itself to the fundamental sakes of long-lasting problems between Russia and Ukraine in the gas field and their evaluation. In the second part, the actual dispute of 2009 is being examined, whereas the attention is paid foremost to the possible causes of the dispute. The last part concerns itself with the review of gathered facts in the context of the current energy policy of the EU, the EU-Russia relationship is being examined and the dependability of Russia is being questioned. There is also a devoted space to discuss the most frequently mentioned diversification options of transit routes in the context of russian interests.
