Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktivy a jejich oceněním dle US GAAP. Nejprve charakterizuje oběžná aktiva a posléze dlouhodobý majetek. Vždy dojde k vymezení, co do příslušných kategorií patří, a následnému vysvětlení používaných oceňovacích metod, které jsou znázorněny na příkladech a v tabulkách. Po celkovém popsání oběžných nebo dlouhodobých aktiv je uvedeno srovnání s Českými účetními standardy a zdůraznění hlavních rozdílů. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to provide information about assets and their evaluation in adjustment of US GAAP. The first part deals with current assets, the second one with long-term property. It always contains brief introduction of each category and description of its content, followed by evaluation of mentioned assets with practical explanation by examples and tables. At the end there are remarked comparisons with Czech accounting standards and highlighted main differences.
