V mojí bakalářské práci se věnuji přímému prodeji jako jedné z distribučních cest a navrhuji zlepšení výběru a trénování nových prodejců v americké společnosti Southwestern. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, kde podle dostupné literatury popisuji definici přímého prodeje, jeho začlenění v marketingovém mixu a jako součást multilevel marketingu. Dále zde v obecné rovině popisuji průběh náboru a výběrového procesu prodejců a komunikaci s různými typy osobností. Teoretickou část uzavírá detailní popis cyklu prodeje. Praktická část je věnována společnosti Southwestern, která využívá přímý prodej k distribuci vzdělávacích produktů. Představím historii společnosti, její organizační strukturu, produktové portfolio a její letní program pro studenty vysokých škol. Těžištěm pro mne jsou řízené rozhovory s prodejci společnosti. Závěr mojí práce obsahuje doporučení pro zlepšení výběru a tréninku nových prodejců společnosti Southwestern. In my bachelor thesis I describe direct sales as one of the distribution channels and I am suggesting how to improve the selection process and training of new independent contractors in the Southwestern company. The thesis is divided into theoretical part, where you can find the definition of the direct sales as a part of marketing mix and also as its utilization in multilevel marketing. There is also part on selection process of the dealers, communication with different types of personalities, as well as the detailed cycle of selling. Analytical part is about the Southwestern company, which uses direct sale for distribution of educational products. I will introduce its history, organizational structure, product portfolio and its summer internship for college students. The main part is the interviews with dealers. In the conclusion, there are recommendations for more effective selection process and training.
