Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat rozvojovou politiku Evropské unie v širším světovém kontextu. První část je zaměřena na vymezení základních termínů. Charakterizuje rozvojové ekonomiky, fenomén chudoby a formy rozvojové spolupráce. Druhá část se věnuje rozvojové politice EU, jejímu vývoji, institucionálnímu a finančímu rámci. Třetí část pojednává o zapojení České republiky do zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce před a po vstupu do EU. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to characterize EU Development Policy in global context. The first part is focused on the definition of basic terms. It characterizes developing economies, the phenomenon of poverty and different types of development cooperation. The second part provides a comprehensive overview of the EU Development Policy, it's history and progression, the institutional and financial framework. The third part discusses the Czech republic's participation in international development cooperation before and after EU accession.
