Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem bonitních a bankrotních modelů a jejich schopnosti podat spolehlivou zprávu a finančním stavu podniku. Cílem práce je zhodnocení vypovídací schopnosti českého bonitně-bankrotního indexu IN05. Podstatnou náplní teoretické části práce je shrnutí dostupných poznatků o bonitních a bankrotních modelech jako o jednom z nástrojů finanční analýzy. Hlavní pozornost je věnována indexu IN05, který je využitelný především pro české podniky průmyslu a stavebnictví. Praktická část je věnována analýze vypovídací schopnosti indexu IN05 a jeho úspěšnosti v zařazení podniku nacházejícího se ve finanční tísni do skupiny podniků s hrozbou bankrotu. Závěrem práce je ověření, že index IN05 se spolehlivostí téměř 80 % zařadí podnik, jemuž hrozí úpadek, do skupiny podniků k bankrotu spějících. Také je doporučeno zařazení indexu IN05 mezi pravidelně využívané nástroje finanční analýzy při kontrole finančního zdraví podniku. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of value and bankruptcy models and their ability to give a reliable report about company's financial health. Main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the enunciation of Czech index IN05. Theoretical part of thesis summarizes the findings of value and bankruptcy models, as one of the tools of financial analysis. The main attention is paid to index IN05, which is useful especially for Czech industrial and construction companies. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of the explanatory power of index IN05 and its success in the inclusion of the company in financial distress into the group with the threat of bankruptcy. As a conclusion of my work is the recommendation to users of IN05 index that the model is almost 80 percent reliable in identifying that company is in financial crisis and that IN05 index is therefore suitable for regular financial health monitoring of the company.
