Tato práce se zabývá lidským kapitálem, jehož neustálý rozvoj by měl být nedílnou součástí života každého z nás. Cílem této práce je ukázat využitelnost vzdělávání v pracovním životě -- zda vyšší vzdělání přináší vyšší mzdy a menší nezaměstnanost. V teoretické části této práce je definován lidský kapitál včetně jeho složek a možností měření. V další části je rozebrán systém školství v České republice. Problematikou celoživotního vzdělávání se zabývá poslední kapitola teoretické části této práce. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na závislost mezi úrovní vzdělání a výší mzdy a následně na nezaměstnanost u absolventů vysokých škol. Dále je zde zkoumána shoda vystudovaného oboru a zaměstnání a poskytovatelé dalšího vzdělávání v České republice. This work deals with human capital which continual development should be very important part of life of everybody. The aim of this work is to show usability in work life -- if the higher education brings higher wage and lower rate of unemployment. There is defined human capital including its parts and ways of measures in the theoretical part. In the next part there is analyzed system of education in the Czech republic. The last chapter of theoretical part of this work deals with issue of lifelong learning. The practical part of the work aims in relationship between education level and wage level and then in unemployment of university graduates. Then there is examined agreement of studied branch and job and providers of further learning in the Czech republic.
