Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení více než staleté existence Klubu Za starou Prahu. Teoretická část vymezuje okolnosti jeho vzniku. Dále se zabývá historií tohoto sdružení, jeho působením v oblasti ochrany památek a metodikami jeho práce. Pozornost je věnována klíčovým úspěchům a neúspěchům, které Klub během své činnosti zaznamenal. Praktická část práce popisuje současné fungování Klubu Za starou Prahu a zhodnocení jeho aktivit. Následuje jeho porovnání s vybranými nově vzniklými organizacemi nebo projekty zabývajícími se ochranou památek v Praze. This thesis aims to evaluate more than a century of existence of the Old Prague Association. The theoretical part defines the circumstances of its origin. It also deals with the history of this association, its work in heritage protection and the methodology of its work. Attention is paid to the key successes and failures, the Old Prague Association recorded during its activity. The practical part describes the current operation of the Old Prague Association and evaluation of its activities. The following is the comparison with selected newly created organizations and projects dealing with the protection of historical monuments in Prague.
