Bakalářská práce usiluje o navržení optimální trasy uvažovaného průplavního spojení řek Dunaj, Odra a Labe. V první části studie popisuje genezi projektu kanálu D - O - L a uvádí limitní parametry, které koridor musí respektovat v souladu s evropskou klasifikací vodních cest. Ve druhé části pak elaborát analyzuje trasy variantních úseků vodního spojení D - O - L, které poměřuje podle předem definovaných komparačních kritérií. Zvláštní pozornost je kladena schopnosti kanálu konkurovat stávajícím vodním koridorům a způsobilosti vyhovět maximálně silnému přepravnímu proudu. Bachelor's thesis attempts to design an optimal route of intended canal interconnection of the rivers Danube, Oder and Elbe. In the first part, the work describes the evolution of project D -- O -- E and introduces limitary parameters, that this corridor has to comply in accord with the European waterways classification. In the second part, this paper analyzes routes of variant sections of water interconnection D -- O -- E, all of which are measured with predefined comparative criteria. Special focus is given to the capacity of this water corridor to compete with existing water corridors and its capability to meet needs of maximal transporting flow.
