Práce se zaměřuje na makroekonomický vývoj České republiky po vstupu do Evropské unie. V první části je zkoumán vývoj hrubého domácího produktu a jeho jednotlivých složek. Dále je uvedeno srovnání tohoto ukazatele se zeměmi Evropské unie, se zaměřením na země Visegrádské skupiny. V poslední části se práce zabývá hodnocením konkurenceschopnosti České republiky podle Zprávy o globální konkurenceschopnosti a následně hodnocením konkurenční pozice zemí Visegrádské skupiny. The thesis is focused on macroeconomic progress of the Czech Republic after admission to the European Union. The first section analyses the development of gross domestic product and its components and compares the countries of the EU, with a special emphasis on countries of the Visegrad Group. The last section deals with the evaluation of competitiveness of the Czech Republic according to the Global Competitiveness Report and comparison of Visegrad countries.
