Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu elitní a masové kultury v divadle, snaží se z teoretického i praktického hlediska postihnout hlavní rozdíly mezi oběma zmiňovanými kulturními formami. Na základě teoretických poznatků, nastíněných v první části, jsou prakticky rozebráni jednotliví zástupci pražských divadel, jejich repertoár a návštěvnost. V závěru je problematika nahlédnuta ještě očima dnešní společnosti prostřednictvím zpracovaných dotazníků. Práce si klade za cíl rámcově posoudit situaci na dnešní divadelní scéně v Praze -- zda lze současné divadelní umění členit dle elitní a masové kultury a zda jeho rozdělení hraje roli v preferencích diváků. The Bachelor thesis addresses the subject of elite and mass culture in the theater. From theoretical and practical points of view, it tries to affect the main differences between the two cultural forms referenced herein. Based on theoretical findings, outlined in part one, the particular representatives of Prague theaters, their repertoire and attendance are then practically analyzed. In conclusion, the whole issue is also analyzed through the questionnaires concerning the preferences of today's society. This thesis aims to assess the situation generally in today's theater scene in Prague -- whether contemporary performing arts can be divided according to elite and mass culture and whether its distribution plays a role in the preferences of audience.
