This bachelor thesis deals with the seasonality of mortality in the Czech Republic since the end of the 17th century to the present. In the theoretical part the used demographic terms and data sources are cleared up. The analytical part focuses on the development of mortality with a focus on seasonality. Emphasis is then placed on the period after 1989, and the differences in seasonal trends by cause of death.
