Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením Mezinárodního měnového fondu (dále jen MMF) v mezinárodním měnovém systému. První část se zaměřuje na jeho základní charakteristiku. Postupně je v ní rozebrána otázka založení, členství a organizační struktury MMF. Druhá část analyzuje finanční prostředky MMF. Pozornost je zde věnována způsobům, jakými MMF prostředky získává a jakými je poskytuje svým členům. Závěrečná část se soustředí na aktuální reformu MMF, která je členěna do tří oblastí. Jedná se o reformu financování, vedení a dohledu. This bachelor thesis focuses on the position of the International Monetary Fund in the international monetary system. The first part concentrates on the basic characteristics. It gradually deals with the question of foundation, membership and organizational structure. The second part analyses the financial resources of the IMF. The attention is paid to the means the Fund gets and provides the financial resources. The final part is devoted to the actual reform of the IMF which is divided into 3 areas: financing, governance and surveillance.
