Diplomová práce se zabývá současnými trendy v oblasti pojišťovnictví. Cílem práce je nalézt a analyzovat vývojové trendy, které pojistný trh v posledních letech nejvíce ovlivnily a pokusit se o prognózu dalšího vývoje v pojišťovnictví. První část práce je zejména zaměřena na hlavní faktory, které byly vyvolány současnými globálními trendy. Dále jsou zde zachyceny významné změny, které nastaly v souvislosti se vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie. Poslední podkapitola informuje o možných ukazatelích, na kterých lze posuzovat vývoj v českém pojišťovnictví a případně ho srovnávat s vývojem na zahraničních pojistných trzích. Stěžejní část diplomové práce, týkající se trendů na pojistném trhu, je rozdělena do 3 kapitol -- Trendy v životním pojištění, Trendy v neživotním pojištění a Trendy ve službách, které s pojistným trhem úzce souvisejí. Práce se dále zabývá vlivem poslední ekonomické krize na vývojové trendy v pojišťovnictví, a je zde provedena analýza zvlášť pro životní a neživotní pojištění. Poslední část je zaměřena na prognózu budoucího vývoje, tedy nastínění možných cest, kudy by se pojistný trh mohl v budoucnu ubírat. This dissertation deals with current trends in insurance. The aim of this thesis is to find and analyse the development trends, which has affected the insurance market the most in the last years and to attempt a prognosis of the future development in insurance. The first part of the thesis is focused on the main factors, which has been caused by current Global trends. There are also detected significant changes that occurred by entering of the Czech Republic to the European Union. The last subhead informs about possible indicators which we can consider the development in the Czech insurance system on and possibly compare with development in international insurance market. The crucial part of the dissertation, concerning the trends in the insurance market, is divided into 3 parts -- Trends in life insurance, Trends in non-life insurance and Trends in services which are closely connected to the insurance market. The thesis also deals with the influence of the recent economic crisis on development trends in insurance, and there is an analysis made separately for life and non-life insurance. The last part is focused on the prognosis of the future development and so outlining of possible ways the insurance market could be wending in the future.
