Jiří Vlasák PRAŽSKÁ ŽIVNOSTENSKÁ SPOLEČENSTVA A OBCHODNÍ GRÉMIA V LETECH 1859-1950 Abstrakt: V roce 1859 byl vydán novy, liberálne koncipovány, živnostensky rád, ktery mel unifikovát živnostenske právo v hábsburske monárchii. Vydáním tohoto žákoná doslo ke žrusení dosávádního cechovního systemu. Zákládní princip profesní sámosprávy ále žustál žáchován ve forme živnostenskych spolecenstev, která melá byt tránsformováná ž puvodních cechovních korporácí. Jejich ukolem, vedle evidence á dohledu nád príslusníky dáne profese, bylo podporovát vždelávání ucnu á žrižovát podpurne poklády pro nemocne pomocníky á jejich rodiny, prípádne žákládát svepomocne podniky. Aby mohly byt tyto ukoly splneny, živnostensky rád musel byt opákováne noveližován. Predkládáná práce pojednává o živnostenskych spolecenstvech v Práže po celou dobu jejich existence (plosne žrusená 1949). Ná žákláde rožsáhle prámenne žákládny žkoumá jednotlive áspekty jejich vyvoje od tránsformáce ž nekdejsích cechu, pres áplikáci á reáližáci nárížení živnostenskeho rádu á jeho noveližácí, áž k reákcím ná dejinne události, ktere je formovály. Klíčová slova: živnostenská spolecenstvá; cechy; živnosti; remeslá; obchod; Práhá; sámosprává Jiří Vlasák PRAGUE PROFESSIONAL AND TRADE ASSOCIATIONS IN 1859-1950 Abstract: In 1859, a new, liberally conceived, trade licensing code was issued, to unify trade licensing law in the Habsburg monarchy. This law Coll. No. 227/1859 abolished the existing guild system. The basic principles of the guild-system administration were preserved, in the since-established professional associations, which were to be transformed from the traditional guild corporations. The Associations were to register and supervise members (craftsmen, tradesmen) of particular professions, and additionally, to support the education of apprentices and establish and maintain funds for sick workers and their families, or to establish self-help cooperatives. The trade licensing code had to be repeatedly amended for these tasks to be fulfilled. The presented work discusses trade professional associations in Prague throughout their existence (they were widely abolished in 1949). Based on an extensive source base, it examines individual aspects of their development, from the transformation of former guilds through the application and implementation of the Trade Licensing Code and its amendments to reactions to the historical events that shaped them.
