Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na možnosti fyzioterapie v rámci pooperační péče u pacientů po artroskopii temporomandibulárního kloubu (TMK). Temporomandibulární poruchy (TMD) jsou častým onemocněním, které se projevuje bolestí, omezením pohyblivosti čelisti a následně snižuje kvalitu života pacienta. Artroskopie představuje moderní miniinvazivní chirurgickou metodu, která může přinést úlevu od obtíží, avšak efekt zákroku může být bez následné rehabilitace omezený. Teoretická část práce se zabývá funkční anatomií, biomechanikou TMK a nejčastějšími patologickými stavy TMK, se zaměřením na extrakapsulární (mimokloubní), intrakapsulární (nitrokloubní), zánětlivé a degenerativní onemocnění a poruchy hybnosti, jako je hypermobilita a hypomobilita. Dále se věnuje tématům samotné artroskopie, vyšetření a terapie TMK a významem fyzioterapie při obnově funkce kloubu. Praktická část byla realizována formou kazuistických studií čtyř probandek ve věku 20-50 let, které byly vyšetřeny před i po artroskopii a podstoupily šest fyzioterapeutických intervencí. Výsledky ukázaly, že správně vedená fyzioterapie vedla ke zlepšení rozsahu pohybu, zmírnění bolestivosti a obnovení funkce čelistního kloubu u všech sledovaných probandek. Významnou roli v průběhu léčby sehrály také psychologické faktory, zejména stres a úzkost, které by měly být součástí komplexního terapeutického plánu. Práce může být využita fyzioterapeuty, stomatology a dalšími odborníky věnujícími se problematice TMK. Do budoucna je vhodné rozšířit výzkum na větší soubor pacientů a dále se zaměřit na vliv psychosociálních aspektů na výsledky léčby. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the possibilities of physiotherapy in the postoperative care of patients following temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthroscopy. Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are a common condition manifested by pain, restricted jaw mobility and a consequent reduction in patients' quality of life. Arthroscopy represents a modern minimally invasive surgical method that can bring relief from symptoms; however, without subsequent rehabilitation, its effect may be limited. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the TMJ and describes the most common pathological conditions, focusing on extracapsular, intracapsular, inflammatory and degenerative disorders, as well as mobility impairments such as hypermobility and hypomobility. It also addresses the topic of arthroscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to TMJ disorders, and emphasises the importance of physiotherapy in restoring joint function. The practical part was conducted through case studies of four female participants aged 20 to 50 years, who were examined before and after arthroscopy and underwent six physiotherapy interventions. The results demonstrated that appropriately targeted physiotherapy led to an improvement in jaw mobility, pain reduction, and restoration of TMJ function in all participants. Psychological factors, particularly stress and anxiety, also played a significant role in the course of treatment and should form part of a comprehensive therapeutic plan. This work may serve physiotherapists, dentists and other healthcare professionals specialising in TMJ disorders. Future research should aim to include a larger sample of patients and focus more deeply on the impact of psychosocial factors on treatment outcomes.
