Bakalářská práce se bude věnovat interpretaci sběratelských předmětů a merchandisingu z fikčního světa Star Wars. Materiálově bude zaměřena na analýzu jednotlivých sběratelských předmětů napříč třemi filmovými trilogiemi. Pokusí se načrtnout typologii předmětů a jejich historii v průběhu času, dále se práce zaměří na hodnoty jednotlivých předmětů z finanční stránky a také z hlediska fanouškovských materiálních hodnot ve vztahu k symbolickým hodnotám těch předmětů. Zabývat se bude i využíváním jednotlivých sbírek v rámci stop-motion animace a fanouškovské tvorby jednotlivých sběratelů. Práce bude sledovat vývoj fanouškovství filmové série napříč dekádami a bude také přihlížet na fenomén cosplayingu (costume artu) a světelných mečů. Analýza tedy cíleně uchopí dílčí, ale nikoli nepodstatný aspekt kulturního fenoménu Star Wars a jeho vliv na publikum, které kolem sebe utváří. The bachelor thesis will be devoted to the interpretation of collectibles and merchandising from fictional world of Star Wars. The materiál will be focused on the analysis of individual collectibles across the three movie trilogies. It will attempt to outline the typology of the items and their history over time, and the work will also focus on the values of individual items from a financial perspective and also from the perspective of fan material values in relation to the symbolic values of those items. It will also deal with the use of individual collections within stop-motion animation and fan creation by individual collectors. The work will follow the development of fandom of the film series across decades and will also take into account the phenomenon of cosplaying (costume art) and lightsabers. The analysis will therefore purposefully grasp a partial, but not unimportant aspect of the cultural phenomenon of Star Wars and its influence on the audience it creates around it.
