Tato kvalifikační práce si klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře s komplexním a snadno srozumitelným shrnutím uměleckého významu britského figurativního malíře Luciana Freuda. Součástí tohoto textu bude bližší seznámení čtenáře s osobním životem, vnitřními pohnutkami, vnějšími vlivy, důležitými událostmi, kulturními kontexty a dopady malířské tvorby zmiňovaného umělce. V pěti kapitolách teoretické části této práce se autor pokusí podat rozsáhlý záběr informací, jejichž motivem je hluboké porozumění uměleckého působení Luciana Freuda v širším kontextu historie výtvarného umění. V praktické části pak autor prezentuje výtvarné výstupy, při jejichž tvorbě prakticky aplikoval principy, postupy a myšlenky získané během přípravného studia. The theoretical-practical bachelor's thesis Naturalism of Lucian Freud is intended to introduce the reader to the complex and easily comprehensible summary and to the artistic significance of the British figurative painter Lucian Freud. This educational text will include a closer introduction of his personal life, inner motivations, external influences, important events, cultural contexts, and the impact of the painter's work on other artists from the past to recent times. In the following five chapters of the theoretical part of this work, the author attempts to provide a wide range of information with the motive of gaining a deep understanding of Lucian Freud's artistic influence in the broader context of the history of art. In the practical part, the author then presents his artistic outputs, in which he applied in practice the principles, methods, and ideas acquired during the preparatory studies.
