Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi, jak obohatit vzdělávání mateřské školy prostřednictvím moudrosti původních amerických indiánů, a dále prostřednictvím myšlenek a principů hnutí woodcraft, které podporuje rozvoj dětí pomocí aktivit v přírodě. Dále se práce zaměřuje na význam kontaktu dětí s přírodou v rámci jejich celkového vývoje. Taktéž se zabývá předáváním a formami příběhů jako takových a jejich důležitostí pro děti. Součástí práce je také průzkum dětských knih s indiánskou tematikou, které mohou pomoci rozvíjet dětskou představivost, empatii a vztah ke světu kolem nás. Praktickou částí práce je vytvoření týdenního plánu, indiánského příběhu, tvořeného aktivitami vyplývajícími z teoretické části. Tento týdenní plán byl ověřen v praxi a evaluován. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the possibilities of enriching preschool education through the wisdom of Native American Indians, as well as through the ideas and principles of the Woodcraft movement, which supports children's development through activities in nature. The thesis further explores the significance of children's contact with nature in their overall development. It also addresses the transmission and forms of stories as such and their importance for children. Part of the thesis includes a survey of children's books with Native American themes that can help develop children's imagination, empathy, and their relationship with the world around them. The practical part of the thesis involves creating a weekly plan, an Indigenous story, consisting of activities derived from the theoretical part. The aim of the thesis is then to verify this weekly plan in practice.
