Tato diplomová práce se věnuje životu ve Větřní, což je malé jihočeské město s poměrně špatnou pověstí. Práce je rozdělena do tří základních částí. V úvodu autor stanovuje výzkumnou hypotézu, o jejíž ověření se následně snaží, a popisuje cíle práce společně s plánovanými metodami. První část je teoretická. Jejím úkolem je seznámení čtenáře s danou lokalitou a s vybranými problémy. Druhou část tvoří samotný výzkum. Autor se dostává do Větřní, kde se prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu (metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru) pokouší zmapovat život zdejšího obyvatelstva. Dojde k oslovení různých expertů, ale i běžných místních obyvatel. V důsledku zkoumání dojde k potvrzení nebo vyvrácení stanovené hypotézy. Následuje třetí část, která je zaměřena pedagogicky. V rámci této části se autor pokouší sestavit metodologii pro učitele výchovy k občanství na 2. stupni základní školy, který by se snažil reagovat na některé zdejší problémy a chtěl situaci zlepšit. Cílem je pokusit se tuto metodologii sestavit tak, aby její užití mohlo vést ke snížení dopadů vybraných problémů. Postup lze použít i ve srovnatelných lokalitách s obdobnými problémy. This diploma thesis is about life in Větřní, which is a small South Bohemian town with a relatively bad reputation. The work is divided into three basic parts. In the introduction of the diploma thesis, the author establishes a research hypothesis, which he then tries to verify, and describes the goals of the work together with the planned methods. The first part is theoretical. Its task is to acquaint the reader with the to the locality and selected problems. The second part is the research. The author gets to Větřní, where he tries to map the life of the local population through qualitative research (mainly using the semi-structured interview method). Various experts will be approached, as well as ordinary local residents. As a result of the investigation, the established hypothesis will be confirmed or refuted. The third part follows, which is pedagogically focused. In this part, the author tries to compile a methodology for civic education teachers in the lower secondary school, who would try to respond to some local problems and would like to improve the situation. The goal is to try to compile this methodology in such a way that its use can lead to a reduction of the impacts of the identified problems. The procedure can also be used in comparable locations with similar problems.
