Diplomová práce se zabývá aktivizačními metodami a jejich uplatněním ve výuce anglického jazyka na druhém stupni základních škol. Teoretická část popisuje rozdíly mezi aktivizační a klasickou výukou, klasifikuje aktivizační metody a uvádí konkrétní příklady aktivit, které se dají uplatnit ve výuce anglického jazyka. Praktická část obsahuje výzkum, ve kterém bylo za pomocí rozhovorů a pozorování v hodinách zjišťováno, jaké aktivizační metody učitelé preferují ve své výuce a jaké preferují méně. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké aktivizační metody využívají vybraní učitelé angličtiny na druhém stupni základních škol a na nižším stupni gymnázií a proč. The diploma thesis deals with activation methods and their application in English language teaching at the second level of elementary school. The theoretical part describes the differences between activation and traditional teaching, classifies activation methods and provides specific examples of activities that can be applied in English language teaching. The practical part includes research in which interviews and observations during lessons were used to determine which activation methods teachers prefer in their teaching more and which they prefer less. The aim of the thesis is to find out what activation methods are used by selected English teachers at the second level of elementary schools and at the lower level of grammar schools and why.
