Dizertační práce je zaměřena na problematiku onemocnění paznehtů u mléčného skotu, která má významný dopad na zdraví zvířat a ekonomiku chovu. Práce začíná literární rešerší, která pojednává o příčinách, důsledcích a profylaxi onemocnění paznehtů, stejně jako diagnostických metodách, které byly aplikovány v rámci detekce onemocnění paznehtů u dojného skotu. Dále se věnuje moderním metodám strojového vidění a infračervené termografii, které nacházejí uplatnění v živočišné výrobě. Cílem práce bylo vyvinout efektivní systém pro detekci zdravotních obtíží u paznehtů, přičemž využívá pokročilé metody strojového učení a segmentaci obrazových dat. Práce popisuje metodiku sběru dat, tvorby trénovacího datasetu a anotaci obrázků. Důležitou částí je aplikace segmentačního modelu s architekturou CNN, konkrétně YOLOv8, k dosažení vysoké přesnosti v identifikaci a klasifikaci zdravých a nemocných paznehtů. Výsledky prezentují účinnost aplikovaného modelu při identifikaci a klasifikaci nemocných paznehtů, přičemž analýza dosažených metrik poskytuje podrobné poznatky o schopnosti modelu správně segmentovat a klasifikovat paznehty. V práci se diskutují výsledky aplikace klasifikačních modelů CNN ve srovnání s klasifikační sítí MobileNetV3, což přispívá k dalšímu rozvoji v oblasti diagnostických metod ve veterinární medicíně. The thesis focuses on the issue of hoof disease in dairy cattle, which has a significant impact on animal health and the economics of breeding. The thesis begins with a literature review that discusses the causes, consequences and prophylaxis of hoof disease, as well as diagnostic methods that have been applied in the detection of hoof disease in dairy cattle. It also discusses modern methods of machine vision and infrared thermography which are both used in livestock production. The aim of the work was to develop an effective system for the detection of hoof health problems, using advanced machine learning methods and image data segmentation. The thesis describes the methodology for data collection, training dataset creation and image annotation. An important part is the application of the segmentation model with CNN architecture, specifically YOLOv8, to achieve high accuracy in the identification and classification of healthy and diseased claws. The results are presenting the effectiveness of the applied model in identifying and classifying diseased hooves, while the analysis of the achieved metrics provides detailed insights into the model's ability to correctly segment and classify hooves. The results of the application of the CNN classification model and the MobileNetV3 classification network are discussed, contributing to further developments in the field of diagnostic methods in veterinary medicine.
