Kapitola se věnuje vnímání vyhnání německojazyčných obyvatel Československa po skončení druhé světové války. Nejprve jsou vysvětleny pojmy odsun a vyhnání a poté nastíněn vývoj a význam vyhnání ve třetí Československé republice a během komunistické diktatury. Studie uvádí také tři příklady vzpomínání na vyhnání Němců ze současnosti. The chapter deals with the perception of the expulsion of German-speaking inhabitants of Czechoslovakia in the aftermath of WWII. First, notions of expulsion and transfer are explained. Then, the development and meaning of expulsion during the third Czechoslovak Republic and during the communist dictatorship is outlined. The study also presents three present-day examples of remembering the expulsion of Germans.
