Diplomová práce s názvem "Právní aspekty měnové unie Evropské unie" se zaměřuje na důkladnou analýzu procesu nominální konvergence českého hospodářství v kontextu dvou klíčových období. První období, rok 2008, je vybráno pro hodnocení potenciálu přijetí eura v České republice v roce 2009, tedy ve stejném čase jako Slovensko. Druhé období, rok 2023, je zkoumáno s cílem určit míru připravenosti České republiky pro budoucí vstup do eurozóny. Zkoumány jsou i roky mezi těmito obdobími, aby byla umožněna komparativní analýza situace při přijetí a nepřijetí eura, především v kritických situacích. Tato práce rovněž zahrnuje současnou analýzu postojů české politické scény a navrhuje možné změny legislativy (de lege ferenda). The thesis entitled "Legal Aspects of the Monetary Union of the European Union" focuses on a thorough analysis of the process of nominal convergence of the Czech econ-omy in the context of two key periods. The first period, 2008, is chosen to assess the po-tential for the Czech Republic to adopt the euro in 2009, the same time as Slovakia. The second period, 2023, is examined in order to determine the degree of readiness of the Czech Republic for future euro area entry. The years between these periods are also exam-ined to allow for a comparative analysis of the situation of euro adoption and non-adoption, especially in critical situations. This work also includes a contemporary analysis of the attitudes of the Czech political scene and proposes possible legislative changes (de lege ferenda).
