Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení politických diskurzů jednotlivých evropských zemí vůči dohodě o volném obchodu Evropské unie a MERCOSURU v kontextu problematiky ochrany životního prostředí spojenou s odlesňováním v Brazílii. V teoretické části je obecně vysvětlen význam environmentální politiky, vývoj environmentální politiky na území Brazílie, význam Evropské unie jako globálního lídra v této politice a ochraně životního prostředí, a také vývoj dohody od začátku vyjednávání. Praktická část obsahuje už konkrétní postoje vybraných evropských států, organizací a institucí vůči dohodě z hlediska problematiky ochrany životního prostředí ze strany států MERCOSURU a následné zhodnocení možných dopadů na území Brazílie. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is an evalution of political discourses of selected European countries towards the Free Trade Agreement between European union and MERCOSUR. In the context of environmental and deforestation issues in Brazil. The theoretical part contains general information about environemntal policy, the development of environmental Brazilian policy and the importance of Europe in the topic of this policy. Part also includes the course of the agreement from the beginning of the negotiations. The practical part contains specific positions of selected European countries, organizations and institutions towards an agreement. And also environmental impacts assessment in Brazil.
