Termín brain drain neboli odliv mozků se ještě nedávno primárně používal k popisu migrace kvalifikovaných osob z rozvojových do rozvinutých zemí. Nyní se ale tato problematika objevuje i v českém odvětví zdravotnictví v důsledku dlouhodobého nespokojení zdravotnického personálu s pracovními podmínkami a s platovým ohodnocením. Cílem této práce je především identifikovat okolní faktory, které působí na lékaře při jejich rozhodování, jestli emigrovat či nikoliv. Hodnoty těchto faktorů v České republice budou srovnány s hodnotami identických faktorů ve zkoumaných zemích, tj. Spolkové republice Německo a Rakouské republice. Z analýz nacházejících se v praktické části práce poté bude prezentován výsledek popisující citlivost rozhodnutí migrovat na okolní prostředí. Práce bude zakončena diskusí a závěrem. Plachká, J. Until recently, the term brain drain was primarily used to describe the migration of highly skilled persons from developing to developed countries. However nowadays, this issue is also appearing in the Czech healthcare sector due to the long-term dissatisfaction of healthcare workers with the working conditions and remuneration. The aim of this thesis is primarily to identify external factors that influence physicians‘ decision-making whether to emigrate or not. The values of these factors in the Czech Republic will be compared with the values of identical factors in the studied countries, i.e., the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria. Based on the analysis in the practical part of the thesis, a result describing how much, if at all, is the decision to migrate sensitive to changes in its external environment will be presented. The thesis will be completed with a discussion and conclusion.
