Halamíčková V. Tax literacy of self - employed persons in the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Mendel University in Brno, 2022 The bachelor thesis evaluates the level of tax literacy of self - employed persons in the Czech Republic. The aim was to evaluate the level of tax literacy of entrepre-neurs and also to identify what factors affect this level. The main part of the work is a questionnaire survey, which was conducted among self-employed. The ques-tionnaire was then evaluated and the most problematic tax issues were identified. Subsequently, the influences that affect tax literacy were determined. This is the effect of gender, income, VAT. Data were processed using a chi-square test of in-dependence. It was also verified what share of self-employed persons uses ac-counting or tax advice and what share of respondents has insufficient tax literacy. This was verified using a one-tailed relative frequency test. In recent chapters, steps have been proposed that could lead to an increase in the tax literacy of en-trepreneurs.
