Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice společenské odpovědnosti firem (CSR) chemického průmyslu České republiky. Cílem práce je zhodnotit současný stav společenské odpovědnosti největších firem chemického průmyslu České republiky. Dalším cílem práce je zhodnotit stav nefinančního reportingu těchto firem a jeho připravenost na nadcházející povinnost v této oblasti v podobě směrnice 2014/95/EU. Výstupem návrhové části práce je dále využitelný CSR report na příkladu konkrétní firmy. Práce dospívá k závěru, že všechny analyzované firmy se chovají společensky odpovědně. Poskytování nefinančních informací je však neúplné a některé důležité aspekty nefinančních informací zcela chybí. Komunikace těchto aktivit je roztříštěná a nesystematická a nesplňuje požadavky směrnice 2014/95/EU. Diploma thesis deals with issue of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in chemical industry in the Czech Republic. The first aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of corporate social responsibility in the biggest companies in the Czech chemical indus-try. The second aim is to analyse providing non-financial information by these biggest companies of the chemical industry and its preparedness to new legal obligation repre-senting by Directive 2014/95/EU. Proposal output represents model CSR report which can be used by any other chemical company. Diploma thesis concludes that all analysed companies act social responsibly. There is a big lack of specific aspect in the field of providing non-financial information though and some critical reporting aspects are missing. Providing non-financial is not systematic, occurs in many channels and is not considered to be in accordance with Directive 2014/95/EU.
