cze Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is the creation of a device that measures electric conductivity of water, and then by using this data analyses the pollution of water and it’s overall mineralisation. The advantages of this device lie in the platform built on the microcomputer Arduino basis and in interconnected modules, which allow for further development of functionalities. The first part consists of literary research focused on the problematics of water and it’s parts with emphasis on wastewater, because it contains bigger quantity of polluting substances, and which are evaluated based on a few parameters, using which it is possible to better understand electric conductivity in terms of observing the quality of water and calculation of TDS from this data. TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) is data which the constructed device measures using an added module placed in water, and which was, for experimental purposes, first measured in laboratory conditions in various solutions. Several locations on the river Dřevnice in the district of Zlín were chosen for the usage of the constructed device and measuring of TDS out in the field. Because this device saves measured data, temperature, time of measurement and GPS coordinations, a web app was also made for the purpose of this thesis in the JavaScript programming language, which also made it possible to process the measured data from all solutions and locations, primarily in the form of graphs. The measured data, illustrated in graphs, is then described and discussed in the thesis. Finally, the thesis finishes with a summary of all measurements and average measured values together with a discussion regarding the effectivity of the constructed device.
