Obsahem práce je pohled na význam symboliky rostlin v životě lidí a jejich roli v krajinářské architektuře od jejích historických počátků až do současnosti. Práce je rozdělena do třech celků. Současné uplatnění v krajinářské architektuře je dokumentováno na realizacích stromových kaplí. The content of the thesis is a view at the importance of plant symbolism in people's lives and their role in landscape architecture from its historical beginnings to the present. The work is divided into three parts. The current application in landscape architecture is documented in the realization of tree chapels.
