Bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikací a vztahy s veřejností v oblasti lesnictví. První část popisující teoretická východiska blíže představuje základní principy marketingové komunikace, a především nástroje komunikačního mixu. Dále je analyzován dosavadní stav zásadních politických rozhodnutí především na evropské úrovni, jež ovlivnila politickou i odbornou oblast v českém prostředí. Současné lesnictví v České republice je významně zasaženo kůrovcovou kalamitou, která se zásadně promítá do komunikace s veřejností. Na základě výsledků výzkumu veřejného mínění provedeného formou dotazníkového šetření jsou navržena doporučení vztahující se ke komunikaci v lesnictví obecně. Na tuto část navazuje představení návrhů, které se týkají aktuální krizové situace – kůrovcové kalamity. This thesis deals with public communication and public relations in the field of forestry. The first section puts forth a theoretical foundation and introduces both the basic principles of marketing communications and especially the tools of the marketing mix model. The following section focuses on the analyses of existing political decisions, particularly on the European level, which have influenced the political and expertise spheres in the Czech Republic. Current forestry in the Czech Republic is deeply affected by the bark beetle calamity, which is significantly reflected in the communication with the public. Based on the results of a public opinion survey administered in the form of questionnaires, the thesis then proposes several recommendations regarding communications in forestry in general. The subsequent section presents proposals relating to the current crisis situation - the bark beetle calamity.
