Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na pojem syndrom vyhoření. Jde o dlouhodobý proces ochabování, narůstajícího cynismu a ztráty angažovanosti vůči ostatním lidem. Hlavní řešené otázky a jejich následné odpovědi nalezneme v teoretické části zabývající se té-matem vyhoření, kde jsou zobrazeny z pohledu několika autorů, v souvislosti nejen s učitelskou profesí. Další kapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku stresu obecně a stresových faktorů, kte-ré mohou vést k syndromu vyhoření. Autor práce se zabývá pojmem stres (podstata, příčiny a rizikové oblasti výskytu). V jednotlivých podkapitolách je definován pojem stres, jeho příčiny a důsledek nejen na naši psychiku, ale i na fyzickou stránku člověka a v konečné fázi se autor zaměřuje na způsoby, jak stresu čelit a předcházet. Závěr teoretické práce je zaměřena na samotnou pozici pedagoga. Část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku učitelské profese a vymezení zátěžových situací v učitelském povolá-ní. Zjištění míry vyhoření autor vyznačuje v praktické časti bakalářské práce, které jsou provedeny u čtyř středních škol. Autor na základě získaných poznatků syndromu vyho-ření z teoretické části provedl kvantitativní šetření za pomoci standardizovaného dotaz-níku (MBI), který je na danou problematiku určený. The bachelor thesis is focusing of concept burnout syndrome. It is a long-term process of weakening, growing cynicism, and losing commitment to other peoples. The main issues addressed relate to the concept of burnout syndrome from the point of view of various authors, the reason for its creation and its relation not only in the teaching profession. The next chapter focuses on the issue of stress in general and stress factors that can lead to burnout syndrome. The author discusses the concept of stress (Nature, causes and areas of risk of occurrence). The individual subchapters define the concept of stress, its causes, the consequence not only on the strength side but also the physical side, and in the final phase the author focuses on ways to face or prevent stress. At the end of theoretical par of thesis, the author focused on the position of the teacher. The characteristic of his activity and the definition of stressful situations in the teaching profession The extend of burnout syndrome is detected in the practical part by teachers of four selected secondary school. Based on the finding of the burnout syndrome in the theoretical part, the author carried out a quantitative survey using the standardized ques-tionnaire named Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), which is designed for the issue
