The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of Community Based Tourism on the island of Guimaras in the Philippines, specifically the perception of local people. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a case study. Based on a literature review, the theoretical part explains relevant concepts such as sustainable development, sustainable development through tourism and community. It further defines the importance of the community or local people for sustainable development. Finally, it explains the theoretical framework and significance of Community Based Tourism as an alternative form of tourism. The case study first describes the island of Guimaras and the form of tourism on the island based on the analysis of data in numbers. It also deals with the analysis of semi-structured interviews, through which the current form, development, and problem of Community Based Tourism on the island are determined. Last but not least, the case study deals with the analysis of a questionnaire survey, which focuses on the knowledge, opinions and willingness to participate in Community Based Tourism of residents of the Guimaras island. Bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením komunitně zaměřeného turismu na ostrově Guimaras na Filipínách, konkrétně vnímáním místních obyvatel. Práce se dělí na teoretickou část a případovou studii. Teoretická část na základě literární rešerše vysvětluje relevantní pojmy, jako je udržitelný rozvoj, udržitelný rozvoj skrz turismus a komunita. Dále definuje význam komunity neboli místních obyvatel pro udržitelný rozvoj. Nakonec vysvětluje teoretický rámec a významnost komunitně zaměřeného turismu jako alternativní formy turismu. Případová studie prvně popisuje ostrov Guimaras a podobu turismu na ostrově na základě analýzy tvrdých dat. Dále se zabývá analýzou semi-strukturovaných rozhovorů, prostřednictvím kterých je zjišťována současná podoba, rozvoj a úskalí komunitně zaměřeného turismu na ostrově. V poslední řadě se případová studie zabývá analýzou dotazníkového šetření, které se soustřeďuje na znalosti, názory a ochotu se zapojit do komunitně zaměřeného turismu místních obyvatel.
