Významem bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit přehled regulačních mechanismů ovlivňujících životnost dělnic včely medonosné. Práce je rozdělena na fyziologické aspekty ovlivňující životnost a feromony regulující dělbu práce. Dále je zde kapitola týkající se dlouhověkých zimních včel. Hlavním regulačním mechanismem organismu dělnice je vzájemný poměr hladiny juvenilního hormonu a zásobního proteinu vitellogeninu. Tento protein má vliv na imunitu a jeho pokles u létavek způsobí snížení obranyschopnosti a životnosti. Na hladinu juvenilního hormonu má vliv ethyl oleát vylučovaný létavkami a feromon plodu vylučovaný vyvíjejícími se larvami. Ethyl oleát oddaluje přechod úlových včel v létavky. Feromon plodu obsahuje dvě složky, jejichž poměr se v průběhu vývoje mění podle potřeb larvy. The purpose of this thesis was to create overview of regulatory mechanisms influencing life span of honey bee workers. The thesis is divided to physiological aspects influencing life span and pheromones regulating the division of labour. Next chapter describes long-lived winter bees. The main regulatory mechanism of the bee organism is the ratio between juvenile hormone and storage protein, vitellogenin. This protein influences immune system and its decrease at forages causes decrease of their defensive capacity and life span. The level of juvenile hormone is influenced by ethyl oleate exuded by foragers and brood pheromone exuded by developing larvae. Ethyl oleate delays transition of hive bees to forages. Brood pheromone contains two components whose ratio adjusts in time based on the brood’s needs.
