Tato práce se zabývá porovnáním financování startupů a podniků malé a střední velikosti. V práci jsou uvedeny zdroje financování malých a středních podniků, zdroje financování startupů a alternativní zdroje financování uplatnitelné na oba zmíněné segmenty. Je popsána forma fungování agentury CzechInvest zabývající se podporou startupů. Jsou zmíněny aktuální možnosti bankovního financování pro startupy v České republice v době vypracování této práce. Práce obsahuje doporu-čení pro startupy v oblasti financování a stručnou diskusi zabývající se kritickými body jistých forem financování a jejich nedostatky. V práci je také zformulována modelová indikativní nabídka financování firmy ze segmentu malých a středních podniků a na základě toho zvýrazněny hlavní změny mezi financováním standard-ním bankovním úvěrem a bankovním úvěrem pro startupy. This thesis compares financing of startups and small and medium enterprise. There are mentioned and explained different sources of financing of small and me-dium enterprise, sources of financing of startups and alternative forms of financing that can be used for both segments. The thesis describes how CzechInvest, Czech startup support agency, operates. Mentioned are opportunities of bank financing for startups in Czech Republic that are relevant to the date of this thesis. The thesis contains recommendations for startups in the field of financing and brief discus-sion about critical points of discussed forms of financing and its insufficiency. There is also enclosed model indicative offer for a company from small and medi-um enterprise segment and highlighted the main differences between traditional bank loan and bank loan for startups based on the indicative offer.
