Tato práce pojednává o porůstání zrna pšenice. Přehled literatury se zaměřuje na základní fyziologické procesy spojené s porůstáním a metody stanovení porostlosti. V experimentální části byly hodnoceny odolnost proti porůstání a vliv termínu sklizně na porůstání u jedenácti odrůd ozimé pšenice: Arkeos, Genius, Gordian, Julie, Julius, LG Amerex, LG Mocca, Pankratz, Proteus, RGT Reform a Vanessa. Vzorky byly odebrány ve třech termínech z pokusu založeného na Polní pokusné stanici v Žabčicích v období 2018/2019. Následně byla u všech vzorků hodnocena porostlost metodou stanovení čísla poklesu a u prvních dvou termínů odběru byla provedena zkouška porůstání klasů na klíčidlech. Ze získaných výsledků byla vyhodnocena výrazná náchylnost k porůstání u odrůd LG Amerex a LG Mocca. Oproti tomu vysoké a stabilní hodnoty čísla poklesu byly zjištěny u odrůd Genius, Julius a Gordian. The thesis deals with preharvest sprouting of wheat. The literature review is focused on basic physiological processes related to sprouting and methods of sprouting determination. In the experimental part variety resistance to preharvest sprouting and effect of time of harvest on preharvest sprouting of eleven varieties of winter wheat (Arkeos, Genius, Gordian, Julie, Julius, LG Amerex, LG Mocca, Pankratz, Proteus, RGT Reform and Vanessa) were evaluated. Samples were taken three times from an experiment conducted at the Field Experimental Station in Žabčice in the period 2018/2019. The activity of alpha-amylase in grains of all samples was assessed by using falling number test. The ears from first and second sampling were tested using sprouting test in germinators. Results showed a considerable tendency to sprouting of LG Amerex and LG Mocca variety was assessed. In contrast, Genius, Julius and Gordian varieties showed high and stable values of falling number.
