Bakalářská práce se zabývá pojmem daňová mezera a metodami, kterými lze daňovou mezeru odhadnout. Součástí práce je také odhad DPPO (daň z příjmů právnických osob) mezery a DPH (daň z přidané hodnoty) mezery a celkového daňového úniku způsobeného existencí stínové ekonomiky. Tyto tři odhady jsou vytvořeny za období 2014–2018. Literární část práce se skládá z dvou kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá definicí daňové mezery a definicemi jednotlivých složek daňové mezery. Tato část se také zabývá pojmem stínová ekonomika a daňový ráj. Druhá kapitola se zabývá dalšími metodami, které lze použít pro odhad daňové mezery. V praktické části byly provedeny výše zmíněné odhady a jejich statistické vyhodnocení. K vytvořením odhadů byly využity metody podle přístupu shora-dolů. This bachelor thesis is concerned with concept of tax gap and methods, which can be used for tax gap estimation. The CIT (Corporation Income Tax) gap and VAT (Value Added Tax) gap estimations and estimations of total tax evasion caused by shadow economy is also a part of this thesis. These three estimations are calculated for the period of 2014–2018. The literary part of the thesis consists of two chapters. The first one is concerned with tax gap definition and definition of each part of this tax gap. There is also a focus on shadow economy and tax haven. The second chapter is concerned with other methods, which can be used for tax gap estimations. In the practical part, the above mentioned estimations and their statistical evaluations were made. These estimations were calculated using the top-down approach.
