V bakalářské práci je analyzována současná situace ve vybraném chovu masného skotu. Práce je rozdělena na dvě dílčí části, a to teoretickou a analytickou. Nejprve je zpracována teoretická část týkající se chovu skotu. V teoretické části je popsán především význam chovu a jeho aspekty na území ČR (je zaměřená na význam a současnou situaci chovu masného skotu, charakteristiku nejčastěji chovaných plemen v ČR, systémy chovu a výkrmu, zpeněžování a ekonomické souvislosti chovu masného skotu). V analytické části je v první řadě popsán rodinný zemědělský podnik zabývajícím chovem masného skotu. Dále je zanalyzována ekonomická situace zkoumaného podniku (stavy skotu, reprodukční ukazatel, náklady, výnosy a výsledek hospodaření) a srovnání nákladů podniku s průměrem ČR. V závěru je zhodnocení a doporučení, jak zlepšit stav ekonomiky zkoumaného chovu. The bachelor's thesis analyzes the current situation in selected cattle breeding. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and analytical. First, the theoretical part concerning cattle breeding is elaborated. The theoretical part describes the importance of breeding and its aspects in the Czech Republic (it focuses on the importance and current situation of beef cattle breeding, characteristics of the most commonly bred breeds in the Czech Republic, breeding and fattening systems, converting into money and economic context of beef cattle breeding). The analytical part primarily describes a family farm engaged in beef cattle breeding. Furthermore, the economic situation of the surveyed company is analyzed (stocks numbers, reproduction indicator, costs, revenues and economic result) and a comparison of the company's costs with the Czech average. In the end, there is an evaluation and recommendations on how to improve the state of the economy of the studied breeding.
